With the name App, Application or Software we mean SviluppoMania Official App.
This policy may change due to the implementation of new features for the application. If you don't agree with this policy, you shall uninstall the application from your devices.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments:

When visitors leave comments on the site / app we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media:

If you upload images to the website / app, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

For the Android version of the App, the forms are protected by a mechanism to make sure that the sending operation is accomplished by a human operator (and not by an automated system).

The services contained in this section allow the Data Controller to monitor and analyze traffic data and are used to keep track of User behavior.

This website uses Burst Statistics, a Privacy-Friendly Statistics Tool to analyze visitor behavior.

Push notification:

Starting from the version 1.6.2.0 (Windows) and the version 1.0 (Android) the App can receive push notifications.
The purpose of this feature is to send news about SviluppoMania to the users.
The capability to receive the push notification also depends on the device settings for the App.
In order to allow the comunication, the App open a comunication channel using the push notification service provided by OneSignal and, for the Android platform, using also the services provided by Firebase.
For more information about the data gathered from OneSignal, please read the Privacy Policy page, with particularly attention to the section "Mobile Device Identifiers and SDKs" of the chapter 5 "Cookies, Pixel Tags and SDKs".

SviluppoMania doesn't collect data related to the push notifications, with exception for the Windows 10 platform, where an identification value of the channel is saved to in an encrypted file. For this platform, the channel is opened using the WNS (Windows Notification Service) of Microsoft. This file is needed for optimize the push notification handling.

Use:

During the use of the App, we reserve one's right to gather some data about your device. This data is gathered in anonimus form and it includes the Operative System, the number of sessions, the Country where you are, the version of the application and the signals of crash.
All this information is important in order to monitoring and improving the App's behavior and act promptly in case of bug.
